Archie Ray Knight, Sr., 61, of Blanchard, died Thursday, October 24, 2019, in Norman. The son of Robert Glenn Knight, Sr. and Mary Louise (Gilley) Knight, he was born April 13, 1958 in Oklahoma City.
 

Archie served in the U.S. Marines and worked many years as a carpenter. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing chess, raising game chickens, and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca “Becky” Knight; his parents; one brother, Robert Glenn Knight, II; grandmother, Dora Gilley; and great niece, Kate Lewis.


Archie is survived by his four children, Archie Knight, Jr., of Blanchard, Alishia Hibler and her husband, Micah, of Blanchard, Jayson Knight of Tuttle, and Amber Stachmus of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Paisley Stachmus of Oklahoma City, Graham Stachmus of Oklahoma City, Jaya Knight of Tuttle, Trinity Knight of Blanchard, and Ella Hibler of Blanchard; three sisters, Brenda Knight of Blanchard, Robin Knight of Mustang, and Lacey Brown and her husband, Clint, of Blanchard; one brother, Larry Knight and his wife, Wyman, of Blanchard; a very dear friend, Dawn Knight of Oklahoma City; and many other loved ones and friends.
 

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard.

Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.
