Helen Louise Klopfenstein, 85, of Newcastle, died Thursday, April 28, 2016, in Oklahoma City. The daughter of Homer Lafayette Boutwell and Nora Frances (Allen) Boutwell, she was born August 27, 1930 in Ardmore, Oklahoma.

Helen attended Faith Tabernacle in Oklahoma City. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening, and reading.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter Robert Klopfenstein; one son, Jerry Klopfenstein; one daughter, Debra Klopfenstein; three sisters, Bettie Davis, Sarah Keltner, and Judy Defibaugh; four brothers, Robert Boutwell, Bill Boutwell, Jimmy Boutwell, and Tommy Boutwell.

Helen is survived by her three daughters, Yvonne Klopfenstein, Ramona Klopfenstein, and Retha Klopfenstein; and one son, Don Klopfenstein, all of Newcastle; daughter-in-law, Rita Klopfenstein of Mustang; four grandchildren, Chad Klopfenstein of Bridge Creek, Wendy Klopfenstein of Mustang, Danielle Klopfenstein of Mustang, and Jeremy Copeland of Newcastle; four great grandchildren; two sisters, Kathryn Lee of Lexington and Sandra Corley and her husband, Bronell, of Blanchard; one brother, David Boutwell and his wife, Jackie, of Blanchard; and many other loved ones and friends.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 PM on Sunday, May 1, 2016, at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, May 2, 2016, at Faith Tabernacle in Oklahoma City. Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery.
