Ricky Dean Jennings, 70, of Blanchard, died Thursday, November 28, 2024, at his home. The son of Paul Dean Jennings and Betty GeLanah (Johnson) Jennings, he was born April 28, 1954, in Chickasha.
Ricky worked as a long-haul truck driver for various companies since the age of 16. He was most recently a driver for Gemini Coatings in El Reno and retired after eighteen years of service. Ricky was Baptist in faith. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing golf and was an avid OU Football fan. Ricky’s greatest enjoyment was supporting his grandchildren and attending their sporting and school events.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his high school sweetheart and wife of 46 years, Becky Sue; and one brother, Donald Jennings.
Ricky is survived by his wife, Jacquetta Jennings, of Blanchard; one daughter, Melissa Lawson, of Blanchard; one son, Billy Jennings and his wife, Robbin, of Weatherford; four bonus children, Javonna, Melissa, Amy, and John; five grandchildren, Bryannah Matthews and her husband, Zach, of Newcastle, Josh Lawson of Blanchard, Lilly Jennings of Weatherford, Jaxson Jennings of Weatherford, and Rebecca Lawson of Blanchard; one great granddaughter, Wrenn Matthews; nine bonus grandchildren; eleven bonus great grandchildren; two sisters, Susan Jennings of Moore and Teresa Swearingen and her husband, Richard, of Oklahoma City; and many other loved ones and friends.
Graveside service and burial will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
