Gilbert Ingle, 84, of Newcastle, died, Wednesday, October 30, 2019, in Oklahoma City. The son of Guy Ingle and Irene (Justice) Ingle, he was born May 9, 1935 in Eufaula, Oklahoma.


He worked for many years as a carpenter. Gilbert raised and trained quarter horses and was a lifetime member of the American Quarter Horse Association. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sylvia “Sib” Ingle; and his daughter, Nancy Jean Ingle.

Gilbert is survived by three sisters, Gloria Rush of Wellston, Gertrude Oltermann of Newcastle, and Georgetta Thomas and her husband, Richard, of Blanchard; two brothers, Greg Ingle and his wife, Deborah, of Mustang and Gary Ingle and his wife, Leslie, of Blanchard; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other loved ones and friends.


Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, November 4, 2019, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard.

Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery.   Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home in Blanchard.
