Carlotta Wilson (Swanson) Hughes, 74, of Blanchard, died Saturday, December 26, 2020, in Norman. The daughter of Bruce Wilson Swanson and Violet Loretta (Webb) Swanson, she was born October 27, 1946 in Blanchard, Oklahoma.

Carlotta lived her entire life in Blanchard. She was Homecoming Queen in 1964 and graduated from Blanchard High School that same year. Carlotta married Michael R. Hughes on September 26, 1964 in Blanchard. She was Baptist in faith and worked as a food service vendor for the Department of Visual Services for 26 years. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Alfred B. Swanson and Donnie Swanson.

She is survived by her husband, Michael R. Hughes; one daughter, Stephanie Schwartz of Blanchard; two sons, David Hughes of Cedar Park, Texas and Cory Hughes of Blanchard; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Sue Stuckey, of Albany, Oregon; and many other loved ones and friends.

Graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM, Thursday, December 31, 2020 in the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
