William Jack “Bill” Howard, 91, of Oklahoma City, died Thursday, November 12, 2015, in Oklahoma City. The son of William David Howard and Girthey Viola (Dallas) Howard, he was born April 24, 1924 in Lehigh, Oklahoma. He married Maud Bernice Mason on July 30, 1946, in Blanchard, Oklahoma.

Bill worked as a milkman for many years for Townley’s Dairy. He was a member of the St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City and spent many hours helping with the care of the grounds. In his spare time, he enjoyed tinkering and working on lawnmowers.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two great grandchildren; five brothers; and six sisters.

Bill is survived by his wife of 69 years, Bernice Howard, of Oklahoma City; one daughter, Nelda Geno of Midwest City; three sons, Jack Howard and his wife, Stella, of Moore, Dale Howard and his wife, Lavietta, of Moore and Karl Howard and his wife, Sharon, of Oklahoma City; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two sisters, Bertha Smith of Paris, Texas and Elsie Hinson of Chickasha; and many other loved ones and friends.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, November 16, 2015 at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery. Maud Bernice Howard, 91, of Oklahoma City, died Monday, January 1, 2018, in Oklahoma City. The daughter of James Ivy Mason, Sr. and Bernice Sandford (McKee) Mason, she was born March 19, 1926 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She grew up in Blanchard and attended Blanchard schools.

Bernice married William Jack “Bill” Howard on July 30, 1946 in Blanchard. She was a longtime member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City. She worked for Western Electric for many years and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing and crocheting.

Bernice was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill Howard; two great grandchildren; three brothers; and two sisters.

She is survived by one daughter, Nelda Geno, of Oklahoma City; three sons, Jack Howard and his wife, Stella, of Moore, Dale Howard and his wife, Lavietta, of Moore, and Karl Howard and his wife, Sharon, of Oklahoma City; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and many other loved ones and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January 6, 2018, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery.
