Ellen Hopkins, 90, of Blanchard, went to be with her Lord and her parents on Tuesday, October 6, 2020, in Norman. She was the third child out of ten born to Charlie Franklin “Chock” Hopkins and Myrtie (Hobbs) Hopkins on August 23, 1930 in Ada.

Ellen moved to Oklahoma City in 1950 right after graduating from high school and went to work as a nurse’s aide at St. Anthony Hospital. She then worked for Dr. Robert Hamilton and Dr. Earl Miller for many years as their dental assistant.

Ellen is survived by one sister, Sylvia Jones of Blanchard; two brothers, Gerald Hopkins of Arizona and Wayne Hopkins of Dibble; many, many nieces and nephews; her two best friends, Doris Parker and Diana Montgomery; and many other loved ones and friends.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, October 9, 2020, at the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
