Willie B. “Bill” Harmon, Jr., 91, of Dibble, died Tuesday, April 7, 2020, at his home. The son of Willie B. “Babe” Harmon, Sr. and Nellie (Cook) Harmon, he was born August 31, 1928 in Dibble.
 

Bill graduated from Dibble High School in 1947 and then went to work on his farm. Bill married Wanda Lee Perrin on May 22, 1948 in Chickasha and she preceded him in death on March 24, 2005. He was a longtime member of the Trinity Holiness Church. Bill was a talented musician and enjoyed playing the guitar and singing with his wife. Bill had a larger-than-life personality and loved socializing. He would visit with anyone who would listen and was well-known at many cafes and businesses in the area. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.


He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Wanda Harmon; one son, Jon Harmon; and two brothers, A.W. Harrison, and Kenneth Swinney.


He is survived by three daughters, Rhonda Cole and her husband, Jack, of Blanchard, Debbie Poole and Derald Holden of Dibble, and Donna Elmore and her husband, Mike, of Lindsay; one son, Kenny Harmon of Dibble and Rhonda Harmon of Blanchard; eighteen grandchildren, Rodney Harmon of Dibble, Richard Harmon of Norman, Ryan Harmon and his wife, Crystal, of Blanchard, Christy Morgan and her husband, Dale, of Blanchard, Lyndi Grove and her husband, Robby, of Piedmont, Josh Poole of Dibble, Mandy Poole of Piedmont, Steven Jarvis of Blanchard, Che Cole of Blanchard, Brian Elmore and his wife, Tammy, of Lindsay, Jeff Elmore and his wife, Mandi, of Lindsay, Angela Elmore and Dustin Barrington of Lindsay, Autumn Harmon, Allison Harmon, Aclynn Harmon, Abigail Harmon, Drake Harmon, and Lance Harmon; all of Blanchard; twelve great grandchildren, Kaleb, Kelsey, Brock, Brody, Brandon, Bryn, Britani, Tyler, Bobby, Katelyn, Braden, and Jett; one great-great grandson, Lincoln; and many other loved ones and friends.
 

A private graveside service will be held at the Blanchard Cemetery.

A public celebration of Bill’s life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.
