Gerald “Wayne” Harmon, 74, of Blanchard, died Saturday, December 21, 2013, at his home. The son of Marvin Floyd “Buzz” Harmon and Mabel Lorraine (Allison) Harmon, he was born January 26, 1939 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Wayne graduated from Dibble High School in 1957. He worked as a truck driver for many years and was Pentecostal Holiness in faith. He helped start several churches in the area and was well-respected in the community. Wayne loved farming and taking care of his cows, but his greatest love was spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Tyler Creswell; a granddaughter-in-law, Stacy Creswell; and a great granddaughter, Jazelle Creswell.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 25 years, Mae Harmon of Blanchard; a daughter, Marci Davenport and husband, Michael, of Dibble; a stepdaughter, Sheila Brannon of Blanchard; a stepson, Kendall Creswell and wife, Kathy, of Dibble; nine grandchildren, Kayelie Durham, Colton Durham, Darla Long, Amy Brannon, Brian Brannon, Sheri Phillips, Erica Creswell, Mandy Ahmed, and Brandy Sanders; twelve great grandchildren, Taylor, Skylar, Jenna, Jadyn, Easton, Kodi, Gabe, Payton, Caleb, Trevon, Buck, and Kennedy; one sister, Anita Harmon Powell and husband, Jack, of Jacksonville, Florida; a niece, Tammi Keeler Johnson of Claremore; a nephew, Terry Keeler and wife, Lisa, of Claremore; a cousin, Charlene Woodruff of Ninnekah; and many other loved ones and friends.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Monday, December 23, 2013 at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Interment will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, Finance Department, 30 East 33rd St., New York, NY 10016.
