Deborah Sue Hallmark was born June 30, 1952 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Lavelle (Sims) and Lester Dee Knox.

Debbie graduated from Dibble High School in 1970 and from USAO with a Bachelor Degree in Education. Bill Whitehead and Debbie were married on May 3, 1994 in Bell County, Texas. She was a member of the Ninnekah Baptist Church, OEA, and NEA. Debbie taught school for Blanchard High School for 12 years. She enjoyed gardening, reading, scrapbooking, and playing bingo.

Debbie passed away June 26, 2007 at 54 years of age.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Whitehead, of Lindsay; children, D. Craig Hallmark of Norman, Kevin Whitehead and his wife, Twylah, of Chickasha, Amber Taneil Kalla and her husband, Joe, of Lawton, Tracey Shaw and her husband, Keaton, of Chickasha, Brandi Whitehead of Chickasha; grandchildren, Jaxson Kalla, Harley Whitehead, Kaisen Whitehead, Kristen Harris, Tyler Shaw; mother, Lavelle Knox of Blanchard; brother, Dave Knox and his wife, Kitty, of Blanchard; sisters, Linda Knox of Blanchard, Sharon Lancaster and her husband, Jonesy, of Yukon; numerous other relatives and friends

Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Dee Knox, on September 9, 1997.

Services were held at 10:00 a.m., June 29, 2007, First Baptist Church, Blanchard. Bro. Mike Whaley officiated with interment held in the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements were made by Eisenhour Funeral Home, Blanchard.
