Florene Zella Hall of Blanchard, Oklahoma, passed away on March 26, 2020 in Garland, Texas.

She was born on May 10, 1936 in Lindsay, Oklahoma. She graduated from Middleburg School in 1953, and married Bill Hall the same year. They spent most of their married life in Texas; Florene worked as a bookkeeper for various companies, and retired from Marquis Cleaning Supply in Lubbock, Texas. They then moved back to Blanchard, where they spent their later years. 


Florene was a member of Crossroad to Life Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School. She baked cookies for the senior citizen’s home in Blanchard, and volunteered at Middleburg Elementary, reading to the students. She loved gardening, playing games, and baking.
 

She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Bill Hall, mother and father, George and Beatrice Eldred, and brother Bobby Eldred.
 

Florene is survived by daughter Gayla Adkins and husband Randle of Garland, Texas, son Gene Hall and wife Tammy of Santa Anna, Texas, and son Gary Hall and wife Dana of Haslet, Texas, sisters in law Sylvia Chaney of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Betty Hensley of Bridge Creek, Oklahoma, Fay Hall of Chickasha, Oklahoma, and Jo Ann Hall of Corsicana, Texas, six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends who will all miss her dearly.


Viewing for family and friends will be from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, March 31, 2020, at the funeral home.

A private graveside service will be held at the Blanchard Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made in Florene’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org/donate. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.

Due to government regulations regarding the COVID-19 Pandemic, the graveside service will be private.
