Thurman Lee Goza, Sr., 78, of Blanchard, died Thursday, December 24, 2015, in Oklahoma City. The son of Jack Thomas Goza and Mattie (Woodard) Goza, he was born February 12, 1937 in Houston, Texas.

Lee served in the U.S. Navy as an aircraft maintenance technician during the Vietnam War and retired after 20 years of service. He then went to work as a security guard and retired in 1999. He married Barbara Ellen (Myers) McCleskey on August 3, 1984, in Houston, Texas. Lee was a non-denominational Pentecostal preacher loved to preach the gospel. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking and fishing. Lee was very good with his hands and was always tinkering and building things.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Sherry Elder.

Lee is survived by his wife of 31 years, Barbara Goza of Blanchard; four daughters, Tonya Buckner of Plano, Texas, Toya Smith and husband, Joe, of Conroe, Texas, Ronda Orchard of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Catherine Richardson of Lufkin, Texas; three sons, Thurman Lee Goza, Jr. and wife, Debra, of Conroe, Texas, Marion McCleskey of Hilo, Hawaii, and James McCleskey and wife, Lawanda, of Norman; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; three brothers, R.J. Trevillion and wife, Shirley, of McCaskell, Arkansas, Donald Goza of Houston, Texas, and Jerry Sallas of Austin, Texas; and many other loved ones and friends.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
