Ethel Lee Freeman, 87, of Blanchard, died Wednesday, July 29, 2015 in Norman, Oklahoma. The daughter of George Frank and Rebecca Jane (Ingram) Tiner, she was born January 29, 1928 in Ada, Oklahoma.

Ethel married H.B. Freeman on December 4, 1943. She worked for many years as a sales clerk for Gilmore’s Department Store and Daniels Dry Goods. Ethel was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Blanchard. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, arts and crafts, crocheting, and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter, Betty Martin; six sisters, Ollie Shipman, Nancy Farmer, Millie Parkins, Marybell McDonald, Ella Jo Heck, and Arnie Tiner; three brothers, George, Thurl, and Arnem Tiner.

She is survived by two daughters, Doris Gonzalez and her husband, Fernando, of Norman and Rebecca Roath and her husband, Dale, of Dibble; one son, G.W. Freeman and his wife, Nita, of Kingston; eleven grandchildren, Mike Martin, Mark Martin, Angela Bell, Alisa Wielebnicki, Andrea Speck, Dustin Freeman, Natalie Langford, Daniel Gonzalez, Marti Wheeler, Heather Roath, and Dodge Roath; fourteen great grandchildren, Case Martin, Logan Martin, Ashley Martin, Triston Bell, Brodie Bell, Lindsay Speck, Sophia Speck, Alex Wielebnicki, Camden Wielebnicki, Eve Langford, Cory Langford, Riley Langford, Shelby Davis-Jones, and Harper Roath; two great-great grandchildren, Piper Martin and Ali Roberts; and many other loved ones and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, August 1, 2015 at the First United Methodist Church in Blanchard. Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery.
