Frederick Paul Faytinger, age 81 of Okla. City, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at Integris Baptist Hospital.

Fred was born May 6, 1940 in Burbank, CA, the oldest of 3 children born to Elmer Edgar Faytinger and Lauva Margaret (Paul) Faytinger. He was raised primarily in Phoenix, OR. Fred married young, and to this union, three children were born. Some years later, he settled in Okla. City. At the time, he was working for Premier Computers. It was here he met Brenda (Lunsford) Griffith. They fell in love and were married on October 30, 1992 in Reno, NV, and two families became one. Fred retired in 1998 as a purchasing agent for Seagate Technology. In retirement, Fred enjoyed watching golf and playing video games, especially Zelda. He enjoyed playing on his computer and watching the stocks rise and fall daily. Fred enjoyed being outdoors and tending to his garden. He was a wonderful husband and father, grandfather, brother and a good friend. He will be dearly missed!

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Elmer and Lauva Faytinger.

Fred is survived by: his wife, Brenda of the home; Children, Lisa Jorgenson and husband Greg of Phoenix, AZ, Teresa Zimmer and husband Don of Greenville, TN, David Faytinger and wife Shelly of Edmond, OK, Chad Griffith and wife Mandy of Wichita, KS , Craig Griffith and wife Mindy of Newcastle, OK and Cory Griffith of Oklahoma City, OK; Brother, Tim Faytinger and wife Evie of Corvallis, OR; Sister, Bonnie Benhke and husband Bryce of Welches, OR; 15 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Graveside Memorial Services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at the Blanchard Cemetery. Send online condolences @ www.wilsonlittle.com
