Mae Kathleen Chambers Dennis

Kathleen was born Nov. 27, 1929, in Chickasha, Okla., the daughter of Elbert and Winnie Johnston Chambers. She graduated from Chickasha High School in 1948 and received her bachelor of arts degree in education from Central State University in Edmond, Okla.
She passed away Dec. 29th, 2004, at Wolf Living Center Nursing Home in Harrah, Okla., at age 75. Funeral services were held Sunday, Jan. 2, 2005, at the Bethel Christian Center Church in Choctaw, Okla., where she was a member. The pastor, Dr. Dick Temple, officiated. Interment was held in the Blanchard Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by both parents, husband, Jack Dennis, one brother, Jimmy Chambers, three sisters, Janet Chamberts Mobley, Sue Chambers Hockman and Cheris Chambers Lowe.
Survivors include three daughters, Debra Shields, of Simi Valley, Calif., Sondra Culp, of Choctaw, Okla., and Janise Dennis, of San Francisco, Calif. Also, three sons, Jack Dennis, of Okla. City, Okla., John Dennis, of Moore, Okla., and Jeffery Dennis, of Okla. City, Okla. Nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Two brothers, Jerry Chambers, of Jacksonville, Fla., Neal Chambers, of Okla. City, Okla. Two sisters, Yvonne Chambers, of Okla. City, and Faye Bailey, of Moore, Okla. Sister-in-law Eva Chambers, of Enid, Okla. Also nieces, nephews and cousins, one cousin living in Chickasha, Pat Baker, and another cousin, Lola Gardenhower, living in Duncan, Okla.
She was loved and will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
