Betty Jean Dillon, 87, of Blanchard, died Tuesday, August 19, 2014, in Oklahoma City. The daughter of Charles Williams Wilkins and Irene Beatrice (Patterson) Wilkins, she was born January 8, 1927 in Oklahoma City.

She retired after working many years for South Community Hospital as their head bookkeeper. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and for several years served as Treasurer for the First Baptist Church in Blanchard and Midway Baptist Church in Dibble. Betty enjoyed genealogy, reading, and traveling.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold Dillon in 1991; one grandson, David Dillon; one brother, Billy Wilkins; her sister-in-law, Sharon Wilkins; and two brothers-in-law, Jack Halliburton and Doug Shaw.

Betty is survived by two sons, John Dillon and his wife, Lorna, of Mustang and Dale Dillon and his wife, Juliet, of Moore; four grandchildren, Kenrick Dillon of Mustang, Chris Dillon and his wife, Kristel, of Mustang, Kyle Dillon of Moore and Wynstelle Dillon of Moore; two great grandchildren, Kaydence Dillon and Crosby Dillon; two sisters, Patsy Halliburton of Blanchard and Charlotte Shaw of Blanchard; one brother, Carl Brent Wilkins of Blanchard; and her sister-in-law, Virginia Wilkins of Moore; and many other loved ones and friends.

Viewing will be from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Wednesday and 8:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M., Thursday at Eisenhour Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 9:00 A.M., Friday, August 22, 2014 at the Eisenhour Funeral Home in Blanchard. Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
