Graveside services for Lois Faye Canary, 82, of Broken Bow, Okla. were held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 13, 2002 in the Blanchard Cemetery.

Lois Faye Canary was born Aug. 8, 1919 in Davis, Okla., the daughter of Frank and Bessie (Goss) Rogers and died Friday, May 10, 2002 in Idabel, Okla.

Lois married Henry J. Canary in 1939 in Kansas and he preceded her in death on Jan. 22, 1975.

She had lived in Hominy, Okla. and Newcastle, later moving to Oklahoma City and then to Broken Bow in 1999.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Don Canary, on April 20, 1994; two infant daughters; one brother, Bill Julian; and two sisters, Virginia DeGarmo and Dorothy Julian.

Survivors include one daughter, Melva, and husband Jerry Moreland of Broken Bow; one son, Charles Canary of Newcastle; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Interment was in the Blanchard Cemetery in Blanchard under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home, Tuttle.
