Norma was a very active member of the Portland Avenue Pentecostal Church in Oklahoma City. She enjoyed reading and discussing politics and current events. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Herbert Bell; a grandson, Joshua Logan Bell; her two sisters, Lucille Klemme and Elouise Benton; and her brother, Bob Corbell.
She is survived by her five sons, Billy Whitley and Shari of Wayne, Oklahoma; Doug Bell of Texas, Nathan Whitley and Shelly of Bridge Creek, Dino Bell and Dawna of Bethany, and Robby Bell and Sue Ruby of Bridge Creek; one daughter, Patricia Braxton of Oklahoma City; eleven grandchildren, Sarah Braxton, Kelsie Kemp, Tanner Bell, Dana Whitley, Katie Whitley, Kassidy Bell, Adam Bell, Justin Bell, Chaneay Bell-Hernandez, Hailey Bell, and Heather Bell; five great grandchildren, Alyssa, Ty, Lexie, Brody, and Dean; one brother, J.C. Corbell of Porum; and her sister, Fairrel Hartwick of Warr Acres; and many other loved ones and friends.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, January 31, 2014 at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Interment will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery.
