Juan Jose Andrade, 59, of Blanchard, died Sunday, November 1, 2020, in Norman. The son of Jesus Jose Andrade and Maria Vincente Andrade-Juarez, he was born September 6, 1961 in León, Guanajuato, Mexico.

Juan was a man of many skills. He began his work career as a baker in the family owned bakery. He was a CNA, a landscaper, and also worked in shipping at KF Industry and Dale’s Manufacturing. He ended his work history at Newcastle Casino working security and with CSC doing ballgame security. Juan was an avid sports fan, especially USC sports. He supported all his kids at Bridge Creek for several years in every sport, every age, every time he was able to go. You could hear him coaching the players. “D up, double play, use the 12th man, pass, take a shot, triangle, and pressure,” are just a few terms he would use. Juan loved helping others. He could build, fix, or make almost anything. He was super proud to help Janie with her baskets at Bridge Creek. He loved his children and family deeply and on his last days kept repeating to each one how much he loved them. In our family, he will always be remembered for his pranks and his great sense of humor.

Juan deeply loved God, his church family, and Celebrate Recovery Group. He was always wanting to learn more about God and His word. He was a proud member of Woodland Hills Baptist Church, Celebrate Recovery leadership team, the men’s group, and the coffee club. He believed in the power of three.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Marie Morgan; and one son, Nickolas Andrade.

Juan is survived by his wife of 30 years, Andrea Andrade of Blanchard; one son, Christopher Andrade and his wife, Katie of Rhode Island; one daughter, Kelsie Andrade and Josh Heath, of Blanchard; two grandchildren, Lula Kennedy and Gracie Bruno, both of Rhode Island; bonus daughters, Joy Hillyard, Linda Hillyard, and Angela Hillyard; sisters, Maria Elana and her husband, Antonio Jacobo, Maria Francis Cobian; sister-in-law, Monica Cooper; brother-in-law, James Morgan; nieces and nephews, Edward Cobian, Andrew Cobian, Carolina Cobian, Christina and Nate Reeves, Jacob Jacobo, Liam Reeves, A.J. Cooper, Caisen Cooper, Harper Cooper, and Grace Cooper; and many other special friends and family members.

Memorial donations may be made to Bridge Creek Food Basket Program or Bridge Creek Athletics Department.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, November 6, 2020, at Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Newcastle. Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
