Ruth Pauline Adamson, 94, of Blanchard, was called to her heavenly home on Tuesday, November 3, 2015. The daughter of Oswald Caldwell and Pearle Blanche (Wallace) Caldwell, she was born July 27, 1921 in Ellsworth County near Geneseo, Kansas. She married Robert C. “Bob” Adamson on August 27, 1938 in McPherson, Kansas.

Pauline belonged to the Rebecca Lodge in Geneseo, Kansas and was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She was a talented musician and played the piano and organ in church for over 55 years. Pauline was currently a member of the First United Methodist Church in Blanchard where she belonged to the United Methodist Women’s Circle and the Prayer Group. Though she spent most of her life as a homemaker, she worked for a short time as a nurse aide and also in the X-ray department of the Norman Hospital. In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting, Swedish embroidery, crocheting, and watching all kinds of sports.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bob Adamson; two sisters, Melba Svaty and Nola Caldwell; two brothers, Lawrence and Jimmy Caldwell; and a great grandson, Robert Callaway.

Pauline is survived by one son, Robert “Santa” Adamson and his wife, Gloria, of Blanchard; two daughters, Connie Brooks and her husband, Roy, of Blanchard and Jeanette McKinney of Blanchard; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; extended family members, Ann Russell and Wimp White of Blanchard; and many other loved ones and friends.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, November 6, 2015 at the First United Methodist Church in Blanchard. Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home in Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
