Frances passed away in Chelsea on Thursday, May 29, 2025. She was 60 years old.
Born in Claremore, OK on November 17, 1964, to Carolyn (Ladd) Bradley and Wilson Leon Harmon. Frances knew one father throughout her life that loved and made sure she was taken care of and that was her mom's husband Sammy Bradley. After Frances graduated from high school she continued her education at Rogers State College. It was there that she received her degree in Liberal Arts and a minor in criminal justice. On September 22, 2018, in Chelsea, OK, Frances married the love of her life Charles Altman, and they became a blended family with 6 children. Frances helped support her family working as a credit card fraud specialist for Bank of Oklahoma.
A lady that found the simple pleasures of life the most rewarding. Frances loved her family and the times they could all be together brought her the most joy. She enjoyed antique shopping, traveling or just jumping on the Harley behind her husband with no real destination. Frances liked flowers and always had her yard filled with some of her favorites. She liked having a good steak and a loaded baked potato now and then and being around the biker community. Frances loved the work they did for veterans and could always be counted on to pitch in and help. When grandchildren came along Frances excelled at being a grandma just as she had at being a mother. The only thing she found disappointing was the fact that her grandchildren didn't give her a cool Grandma name.
No story about Frances would be complete unless you mentioned she was quite the history buff. She liked to explore and go to old cemeteries, historical buildings, and battle sites. But at the end of the day, it was all about family and the memories that were made when they were all together.
This wife, mother, grandma, daughter, and friend will leave a legacy that will live on for years to come. Frances is survived by her husband, Charlie Altman, children, Brandy Parkhill and Joey, Kristine Godsey and Travis Beaven, Alicia Altman, Nathan Altman, Shannen Godsey and Rebecca Sparkman, and Dakota Shoemaker, grandchildren, Jacob Parkhill, Abigail Parkhill, Drake Parkhill, Levi Parkhill, Sydney Hull, Kaiden Godsey, Liam Sparkman, Bokerah Beaven, mother, Caroyln Bradley, brothers, Lee Harmon and wife Christie, and Andrew Fogleman, mother-in-law, Pacifica Altman, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family, and best friend Cindee Phillips. Frances was preceded in death by her son, Glenn Dale Godsey II, father, Wilson Leon Harmon, dad, Sammy Bradley, sister, Carol Harmon, maternal grandparents, Lila Mae Hicks Ladd and Augusta Tom Ladd Jr., paternal grandparents, Lee Roy Harmon and Roberta Alexander Harmon, and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.
