Stacy Leann Henington
November 15, 1978 - April 10, 2026
Stacy Leann Henington, age 47, of Locust Grove, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 15, 1978, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, to Reuel Wayne Levings and Debra Sue (McClure) Levings.
Stacy was raised in Peggs, Oklahoma, where she attended Peggs Elementary School through the eighth grade before continuing her education in Tahlequah, graduating with the Class of 1997. She went on to further her education at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, where she earned her master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
On July 29, 2006, Stacy married the love of her life, Randy Joe Henington, in Lincoln, Arkansas. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and love.
From a young age, Stacy was known for her strong work ethic, beginning with cleaning homes and babysitting. She later worked at Cherokee Elementary School and dedicated over 12 years to Locust Grove Public Schools. In 2018, she began teaching at William Bradford Christian School in Pryor, where she taught second grade and High School history. Stacy was also actively involved in the school as an assistant baseball coach and cheer coach. She truly loved teaching and had a lasting impact on her students and colleagues.
Stacy was a devoted member of Faith Assembly of God Church in Peggs, where her faith was the cornerstone of her life. She led the Praise and Worship Team, sharing her love of singing, and served as a Sunday School teacher. She was also active in Missionettes and women's ministries, and she had a passion for preaching and sharing her faith. Stacy will be remembered for her unwavering trust in God and her servant's heart.
She enjoyed an active lifestyle, including walking, running, and even participating in marathons. Stacy loved being outdoors, tending to her flower gardens, and riding horses. She cherished time spent on vacations with her family and, like many, never passed up a good cup of coffee.
Stacy was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was loving, faithful, and known for her joyful, goofy personality. Her beautiful smile and kind heart touched everyone who knew her.
Stacy is survived by: her husband: Randy Henington of the home; 3 children: Rachel Henington and Caleb Henington, both of Locust Grove, Oklahoma, and Whitney Campbell and husband Josh of Oologah, Oklahoma; 4 grandchildren: Maddie Campbell, Harry Campbell, Isaac Campbell and Everett Campbell, all of Oologah, Oklahoma; Her mother: Debbie Levings of Chouteau, Oklahoma; Her father: Wayne Levings of Peggs, Oklahoma; 2 brothers: Mark Levings and wife Charity of Locust Grove, Oklahoma, and Brad Levings of Chouteau, Oklahoma; 2 nephews: Ty Levings and Ryker Levings, who was known to Stacy as "Boo"; 2 nieces: Rynlee Levings and Brecklee Levings, all of Locust Grove, Oklahoma. Numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Stacy was preceded in death by her grandparents: Reuel and Doris Levings; her maternal grandmother: Etta McClure; her father-in-law and mother-in-law: J.C. and Barbara Henington and his wife, Thelma Brewer-Henington; and her brother-in-law: Ronnie Henington.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 17, 2026, at Faith Assembly of God Church in Peggs, Oklahoma, with Pastor Gary Walden and Pastor Andy Pilant will be officiating. Interment will follow at Hogan Cemetery in Locust Grove, Oklahoma. Services have been entrusted to Locust Grove Funeral Home.
