Glen Curtis
February 14, 1943 - March 18, 2025

Darrell Glen Curtis, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, & friend, passed away on March 18, 2025, in Tulsa, OK, at the age of 82. He was born on February 14, 1943, in Big Flat, AR, to Roy Robert & Fannie Mabel (Downs) Curtis.

Glen was raised in Tulsa, attending East Central & Union Schools. On November 4, 1961, he married the love of his life, Eunice Mae Lee, in Coweta, OK. Together, they built a life filled with love & devotion, raising four children - Brenda, Betty, Darrell, & Brian. Their marriage was a testament to commitment, spanning more than 63 years.

Glen honorably served in the National Guard for over five years. His strong work ethic led him to a career in lumber at Hannah Lumber Company before joining Mill Creek Lumber, where he worked diligently for over 37 years. Even after his retirement in 2006, his dedication continued as he returned part-time as a quality control specialist, making sure all their yards were in order. He also served as a bus monitor for Locust Grove Public Schools.

A devoted man of faith, Glen was an active member of Lighthouse Assembly of God Church in Locust Grove for over 55 years. His love for the Lord guided his life, & his steadfast faith was evident to all who knew him. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, & watching westerns, as well as cheering on his favorite football teams - especially the Locust Grove Pirates, never missing a game when his sons played. He was a fan of professional wrestling & enjoyed watching the WWE.

Glen will be remembered for his unwavering honesty, strong will, & deep love for his family. He took pride in his garden, & more than anything, he treasured time spent with his loved ones. His legacy of faith, integrity, & devotion to family will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Glen is survived by: his wife, Eunice, of the home; 4 children: Brenda Kirby & husband Larry of Locust Grove, OK, Betty Richardson of Locust Grove, OK, Darrell Curtis & wife Misty of Tahlequah, OK, & Brian Curtis & wife Samantha of Wagoner, OK; 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 1 brother: Doyle Curtis & wife Chris of Tulsa, OK; As well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, church family, & a host of friends.

Glen was preceded in death by: his parents; 3 brothers: Buford Curtis, Jerry Curtis, & Bennie Curtis; 4 sisters: Teresa Curtis, Linda Curtis, Karen Curtis, & Wanda Ivy.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Lighthouse Assembly of God Church in Locust Grove, Oklahoma, with Brother Junior Mullins officiating. Interment will follow at Hogan Cemetery near Locust Grove. Services are entrusted to Locust Grove Funeral Home.
