Lorri Couch
December 18, 1963 - June 12, 2020


Lorri Annette Couch, 56, of Pryor, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2020 in Tulsa. She was born on December 18, 1963 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; the daughter of Richard "CB" and Jo Ann (Talbot) Douglas. Lorri attended Osage Schools and then transferred to Pryor and graduated in the Pryor High School Class of 1982. She married the love of her life, Roger "RL" Couch on June 6, 1981. Lorri worked for the Whirlpool Corporation in Tulsa for many years and was also co-owner of Capstone Creations in Pryor. She was a member of the Pryor, Wagoner, and Claremore Quilter's Guilds. Lorri loved quilting and crocheting and was very talented at it. She also held a special place in her heart for animals of all shapes and sizes. Lorri attended Pleasant View Baptist Church in her younger years and also attended Northstar Church in Pryor. Lorri had a smile that could brighten anyone's day and loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, and daughter and will be missed by all who know and loved her.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 19, 2020 in the Hogan Cemetery with Pastor Dustin Evans officiating. Honorary casket bearers will be Charlie Stewart, Gene Austin, Frank Douglas, Chris Talbot, Robert Talbot, and Daniel Talbot. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 18, 2020 in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel. Lorri is survived by her husband, Roger "RL" Couch of the home; daughter, Ashley Couch of Pryor, Oklahoma; mother, JoAnn Douglas of Pryor; brother, Philip Douglas and wife, Alethea of Owasso, Oklahoma; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Richard "CB" Douglas, and grandparents, CW and Catherine Talbot and Bessie and Clarence Douglas.
