Arnold "Arnie" Peek
February 3, 1933 - June 22, 2025

Arnold "Arnie" Richard Peek, Sr., 92, of Pryor, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025. Born on February 3, 1933, in Morris, Illinois, Arnie proudly served his country in the United States Army for 21 years. A decorated veteran of the Korean War and Vietnam War, he completed two tours in Vietnam and was the recipient of numerous military honors, including the Bronze Star with Valor, the Army Commendation Medal with Valor, and four Purple Hearts for wounds received in combat. Following his military service, he worked as a truck driver until retirement. Arnie had a passion for all things mechanical and loved tinkering around the house. He enjoyed shooting, working on projects, and completing crossword puzzles. A proud Republican, Arnie was deeply devoted to his family and cherished time spent with his children and grandchildren. Arnie's legacy of service, strength, and love for family will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
He is survived by his sons, Ronald Peek; step-sons, Bryan Brock and wife Teresa, and Jason Brock; daughter, Katherine Manley; step-daughter, Carrie Wallace; 15 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Virginia (Watson) Peek; wives, Betty Peek and Debra Peek; siblings, Everett, Kenneth, Harold, William, Howard, Robert, Betty, Marie and Russell; and his sons, David Peek and Arnold Peek, Jr.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Shipman's Funeral Home in Pryor. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 25, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., in the Shipman's Funeral Home chapel followed by burial with full military honors at Graham Memorial Cemetery.
