Lila Fern Palmer
August 19, 1929 - January 17, 2026
Lila Fern Palmer was born on August 19, 1929, in Arriba, Colorado, to Everett and Katherine (Main) Bartley. She graduated high school in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. On June 01, 1957, Lila married Kenneth Palmer in Elko, Nevada. Lila was a homemaker most of her life and worked as a babysitter for twenty-five years before retiring in 1988. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pryor, and also Daughters of the American Revolutionary War.
Lila departed this life on January 17, 2026, in Pryor, Oklahoma, at the age of 96.
Lila is survived by her daughter, VeNila Davis; granddaughter, Katie Rhoads; and many nieces and nephews.
Lila was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Katherine Bartley; husband, Kenneth Palmer; daughter, Shelia Lamb; granddaughter, Milynda Rhoads; brothers: Orville Bartley, Charlie Bartley, and Russel Bartley; sisters: Frances Tucker, Mary Jane Meyers, and Lucy Bartley; son-in-law, Lynn Davis.
