April 13, 1944 - November 4, 2007
Funeral services for Rebecca "Becky" Jean Greer, 63 of Pryor will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at Southside Christian Church in Pryor with Pastor Ken Gerhart officiating. Burial will follow at Graham Memorial Cemetery in Pryor. Services are under the direction of Key Funeral Home of Pryor.
Becky was born April 13, 1944 in Boyton, Oklahoma to Carol E. and Mary (Wheeler) Harris. She died November 4, 2007 in Pryor, Oklahoma. Becky grew up in Muskogee and graduated from Muskogee High School in 1962. She then attended Droughn's Business College, obtaining a business degree. Becky married David Greer in 1968, the couple made their home in Pryor. She was an active member of Southside Christian Church. Becky was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family and entertaining at her house. She was a faithful wife, loving mother and a caring person who was always putting other people's needs before her own. Becky especially loved her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, David of the home; 2 sons, Tommy Greer of Pryor and Bryan Greer of Tulsa; 1 daughter, LeAnn Abbott and husband Charlie of Pryor; mother, Mary Lee Miller and husband Karl of Muskogee; 8 grandchildren, John McDaniel, Katie Greer, Jesse Greer, Alison Greer, Jalen Greer, Greer McDaniel, Jason Greer, and David Abbott; 1 brother, John Harris of Burrelson, TX; 1 step sister, Joyce Dietrick of Tulsa; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father; step father, Lee Bivens; and uncle and aunt, Marvin and Hazel Sorrels.
Family will be greeting friends 6:00-8:00 P.M. Monday evening at Key Funeral Home in Pryor.
