Helen Georgia Gann
February 27, 1942 - October 27, 2025
Helen Georgia Gann was born on February 27, 1942, in Eucha, Oklahoma, to George and Beulah (Warren) Atkins. Helen was a lifetime resident of northeast Oklahoma. In 1959, she married Joe Gann in Miami, Oklahoma. Helen was employed at Cherokee Togs and King Louie for thirty years combined. While at King Louie, Helen served as a Union President. She then went to work at Walmart for twenty years prior to her retirement.
Helen enjoyed going on daytrips with her husband, being with her family, attending her grandchildren's ball games, and gardening. She was a member of Salina's Church of God Holiness, and was very involved in the church. Helen will be remembered as a hard-working woman, who loved her family and was always willing to help anyone in need.
Helen departed this life on October 27, 2025, in Pryor, Oklahoma, at the age of 83. She is survived by her children: Rana (Dan) Kocsis, Kenny (Tammy) Gann, and Reba Benjamin; ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; brothers, Jackie (Lana) Atkins, and Larry (Leta) Sloan.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, George and Beulah Atkins; special long-time stepmother, Frankie Atkins; and her husband, Joe Gann.
