Connie Elaine Dotson
December 19, 1951 - June 20, 2025

Connie Elaine Dotson, a cherished family matriarch, passed away on Friday, June 20, 2025, in Claremore, Oklahoma. Born on December 19, 1951, in Pryor, Oklahoma, she lived a life filled with love, family, and passions that brought joy to those around her.

Connie was married to Barry Dotson on July 11, 1968, in Pryor, sharing many fulfilling years together until his passing in September 2008. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, deeply committed to her family. Connie is survived by her daughters, Sharon Voss and husband Todd of Grass Valley, CA, and Gina Brim and husband David of Claremore, OK. She found great happiness in her role as a grandmother to Bailey, Shaye, Cody, and Brady, and as a great-grandmother to Ronan, Asher, and Kennedy. Connie's love and dedication to her family were evident in every aspect of her life.

In addition to her immediate family, Connie is survived by her significant other, John Martin; her brothers, Rick Howard and wife Pam of Pryor, OK, and Robert Howard and wife Jody of Santa Paula, CA; her sisters, Diane Dotson of Sand Springs, OK, and Annette Mason and husband Jonathan of Santa Paula, CA; and her sister-in-law, Christine Howard of Ridgecrest, CA.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Ruth (Osborne) Howard; her husband, Barry Dotson; and her brother, Johnny Howard.

An active member of Life Fellowship Church, Connie's faith was a cornerstone in her life. Professionally, she worked for Fabricut and then eight years at Red Devil before retiring, where she established her reputation as a dedicated employee. Connie had a passion for quilting and sewing, often creating beautiful pieces that would be treasured by her family. Connie will be remembered not only for her contributions to her family but also for the love she shared with those fortunate enough to know her. Her legacy of kindness, creativity, and devotion will live on in the hearts of her loved ones.

Funeral services for Connie will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 30, 2025, in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel with Bob Rhoads officiating. Interment will take place at Graham Memorial Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Sunday, June 29, 2025, at Shipman's Funeral Home. To leave a personal message, please visit her guestbook at www.shipmansfuneralhome.com.
