Troy J. Musgrave
July 31, 1933 - July 2, 2026

Troy J. Musgrave was born on July 31, 1933 to Thomas J. and Della (Byrd) Musgrave in Rose, Oklahoma. He departed this life on July 2, 2026 surround by his family at his home in Pryor. He was 92.

Troy was a lifetime resident of Mayes County. In 1953 he enlisted in the United States Army and served until 1954. He married the love of his life, Shirley Ann Perkins, on March 31, 1956. The couple soon made their home in Pryor and had two sons, Steve and Gary.

Troy was a member of the First Freewill Baptist in Pryor from the late 1960's. He loved the Lord and was very active in serving the church all of his life. He enjoyed camping with his family. He was also very talented when it came to wood working and could build absolutely anything, including his own home.

Above all, Troy was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved his family and his legacy will live on through each one of them.

He is survived by his two sons, Steve Musgrave and wife Tami and Gary Musgrave and wife Connie; three grandchildren, Greg Wallis and wife Jamie, Jolene Morrow and husband Mark and Jordan Musgrave and wife Leah and seven great grandchildren.

Troy is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Shirley and one brother, Roy Musgrave.
