Ernestine Booth
November 9, 1936 - July 17, 2025

Ernestine (Teeny) Booth was born on November 9, 1936, in Talala, Oklahoma, to Jack and Blanche (McClure) Burchett. A lifetime resident of Mayes County, Teeny graduated from Pryor High School in 1955. She was united in marriage to James Booth on June 16, 1956, in Pryor. She and her husband were members of the Elks Lodge, and the American Legion.

Teeny was raised in the Methodist Church in Pryor, and she was also active as a volunteer precinct worker for several local elections. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling abroad, camping, playing Bridge, gardening, antiquing, and spending time at the lake. Above all, Teeny enjoyed being with her family.

Ernestine Booth departed this life on July, 17, 2025, at her home in Pryor. She is survived by her grandchildren: Abraham Ogden and his wife, Rikki, Elijah Ogden and his wife, Melissa Tipton, Callie Schultz and her husband, Marcus, and Dylan Stevens; and great-grandchildren: Arthur, Wesley, Asher, Amelia, Canyon, Lyla, and Ethan.

Ernestine was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Blanche Burchett; her husband, James; daughters: Jamie Ogden and Jacque DeSautell; brothers: Randy Burchett and Gary Burchett; and sister, Pat Whorton.
