Patterson, Maxine “Mimi”, 94, passed away Monday, April 16, 2012, in Moore, Oklahoma.  She was born February 25, 1918 in Chouteau, Oklahoma to Will and Matilda (Purcell) Crockett.  She was united in marriage to H.J. Patterson in 1935 after graduating from Chouteau High School.  They were married for 68 years.

Maxine played the organ and piano in church and was taking organ lessons until she turned 85 years of age.  She enjoyed cooking, teaching Sunday school, playing card games, crocheting, and the flowers at her home.  She was a member of the ESA Sorority.

Maxine is survived by two daughters, Mary Buck and husband Dewey, and Patti Graham and husband, Al both of Norman; grandchildren, Mike Buck and wife Wendy of Moore, Doug Buck of Norman, Jay Graham and wife Jennifer of Norman, Kara McDonald and husband Seth of OKC, Jeff Graham of Norman; great grandchildren, Jennifer Buck and fiance Aaron Minnis of Norman, Jessica Harris and husband Ryan of Yukon, Julie Jennings and husband Lee of Moore, Katelin McDonald, Connor Graham, Gavin Graham, Jesse Graham and Jayden Graham; great-great grandchild, Olivia Harris; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harrison Patterson; three brothers and three sisters.

Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 18, 2012 and 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 19, 2012 with the family greeting friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday at Havenbrook Funeral Home, 3401 Havenbrook St. of Norman.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 20, 2012 in the First Presbyterian Church, Chouteau, OK with interment following in the Chouteau Cemetery.  Arrangements for Maxine and her family were placed in the care of the Vice Family at Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman.
