James "Al" Graham
September 23, 1948 - March 24, 2026
Al Graham, age 77, of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away on March 24, 2026. He was born on September 23, 1948, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Al grew up with a deep appreciation for family, faith, and the outdoors. Al and Patti were married June 2, 1970, and together they shared 55 years of marriage, filled with devotion, humor, and countless memories.
A graduate of Central State College in Edmond, Oklahoma, Al earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing & Management. He built a successful career as a Pharmaceutical & Respiratory Sales Representative. Known for his integrity, quick wit, and genuine warmth, Al formed lasting friendships with colleagues and clients.
Al was a man of many interests and talents. He enjoyed cartooning, drawing, photography, muzzleloading, camping, fishing, hunting, knife making, and cowboy poetry. His creativity and curiosity were evident in everything he pursued. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Norman, Oklahoma.
He is preceded in death by his parents Jesse James Graham, Jr. and wife Nancy Cecile, as well as his father in law H.J. Patterson and mother in law Maxine.
Al is survived by his wife Patti Graham of Norman; children: Jay Graham and wife Jennifer of Norman, Kara McDonald and husband Seth of Oklahoma City, and Jeff Graham and wife Kristin of Noble; and seven cherished grandchildren: Katelin McDonald, Connor Graham, Jesse Graham, Gavin Graham, Jayden Graham, Addison McDonald, and Ellie Graham. He is also survived by his sisters Linda Kelley and Brenda Quinn.
A viewing will be held Thursday, March 26th, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Havenbrook Funeral Home, 3401 Havenbrook St., Norman, Oklahoma. Funeral services will take place at Havenbrook Friday, March 27th at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow in Chouteau, Oklahoma at 3:30pm. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Thomas Merrill and the staff at Grace Skilled Nursing and Therapy for their dedicated and compassionate care.
Al will be remembered for his humor, creativity, love of family and friends.
