Sherrie Warford Smith, 50, of Adair, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2010 at her home. She began her journey, being the first of twins to Nelson and Oreta Warford, on August 15, 1950 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Sherrie attended Adair Schools graduated with the class of 1977. She began her life with Rick Smith on November 12, 1983. She was a resident of Adair, Oklahoma her entire life. Sherrie was an avid Arrowhead collector and would spend hours in the fields and creeks hunting Indian artifacts. She enjoyed the peaceful waters in her kayak going all over Lake Hudson. She was an awesome Aunt (mother) to her nephews and nieces, and greats, taking them crawdad hunting, fishing, camping, arrowhead hunting, building snowmen, doing snow angels in the snow, showing each one how to love life. She was such a creative person, making her and others costumes, clothes, purses, anything with her hands. She worked for King Louie for 15 years, then going to her dream job at Home Sweet Home with her high school friends.
After a long battle with cancer she went to join her loved ones in heaven on February 7, 2010, surrounded by her family and friends. A Memorial Service is planned for 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 12, 2010 in the First Church of God in Pryor with Reverend Rick Cope and Pastor Andrew Rehbein officiating. The family will receive friends and family at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m.
Honorary Bearers will be Mike Warford, David Alan Warford, Jim Graves, Mike Osborn, Kenneth McGuire, Toby Graves, Jerrerd Graves, Kenny McGuire, Jr. and the late Seth Warford.

Sherrie is survived by her husband, Rick Smith of the home; her mother and father, Nelson and Oreta Warford of Adair, OK; her twin, Carrie and husband, Jimmy Graves of Adair, OK; sisters, Theresa and husband, Kenneth McGuire of Watonga, OK, Dianna and husband, Mike Osborn of Sapulpa, OK; brothers, Mike Warford of Adair, OK, David and wife, Dee Dee Warford of Adair, OK; lots of nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews; numerous aunts and uncles and other relatives; sister's of the heart, Bobbie Faulk and Sherrie Vanover. She was preceded in death by her niece, Julia Osborn and her nephew, Seth Warford.
