June 24, 1939 - January 29, 2021

Linda Kay Hamill, 81-year-old Adair resident, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 24, 1939 in Muncie, Indiana, to Kenneth and Esta Mae (Woods) Koontz. Linda grew up and went to school in Indiana. On September 22, 1957 she married the love of her life, Robert Louis "Bob" Hamill in Yorktown, Indiana. Bob and Linda made their home and farmed in the Rushville area until August of 1990 when they moved to Adair, OK. Linda was always involved and encouraged her children in 4-H activities while they were growing up. She was very involved in the Adair Methodist Church, she taught youth Sunday School Class, was head of the puppet ministry, involved in the U.M.W. and she and Bob were heavily involved with the NOCC Prison Ministry for over 15 years. While in Indiana Linda was a member of the Gingham Gals homemaker club as well as the women's bowling league.

Family preceding her in death includes her parents, a sister, Marilyn Ent and a brother, Melvin Koontz.

The surviving family includes, her husband Bob of the home, her daughters, Jodie Yoon and husband Michael of Middletown, Ohio, Cindy Naas and husband Larry of Adair, Connie Wissel and husband Dennis of Oldenburg, Indiana, a son, Randy Hamill and wife Becky of Adair; sisters, Nancy Hines and husband John, Deanna Robertson and husband Frank, Judy Cougill all of Muncie, Indiana; eight grandchildren; Kelly and Macy Naas, Cory and Holly Disbro, Haylee, Brianna, Kylee, Brycen, and Avery Hamill, and one great-grandchild Harper Disbro, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

The celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Adair United Methodist Church, with Pastor Steve Bear officiating. Interment will follow at the Old Adair Cemetery. Friends may give to the Adair United Methodist Church. Online condolences may be made at www.stephens-key.com or on the funeral home Facebook page. Arrangements are under the care of the Stephens-Key Funeral and Cremation Care of Pryor.
