Bonnie Marie Marble
August 13, 1935 - June 12, 2026
Bonnie Marie Marble was born on August 13, 1935, in Welch Prairie, Oklahoma, to Idess and Flossie (Russell) Gammel. She was a lifetime resident of the Mayes County area.
Bonnie was an avid gardener who grew beautiful flowers. She loved animals. Two of her favorites were a special mule named 'Linda' whom Bonnie had for thirty years, and a red heeler dog, named 'Peaches'. She also raised chickens and goats along with other animals throughout her life. Bonnie loved to watch the Oklahoma City Thunder play basketball. Even more so, she enjoyed watching her grandchildren play in their games. She was a collector of all things (especially antiques). Throughout her life, Bonnie had several booths at antique stores, where she would buy, sell, and trade. Bonnie was also known as an excellent cook. Everyone loved her chicken and dumplings. Above all, Bonnie will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Bonnie Marie Marble departed this life on June 12, 2026, at her home in Salina, Oklahoma, at the age of 90.
Bonnie is survived by her children: Idess "Junior" (Kathy) Scroggins, Janet Binam, Terry Scroggins, Jerry (Joyce) Scroggins, Georgia Scroggins, Penny White, Niki Ritchie, Kelly (Wade) Brandon; twenty-nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Idess and Flossie Gammel; grandsons: Wayne Scroggins, Dallas Scroggins, and Austin Scroggins; sisters: Louisa Gammel, Bessie Collins, and Dovie Daniels; brothers: Will Gammel, Manuel Gammel, Frank Gammel, and Ted Gammel and daughter in law, Gina Scroggins.
