Donald "Runt" Ingle, born on December 17, 1946, in Claremore, Oklahoma, passed away on March 23, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 79.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army, embodying a spirit of dedication and honor. Beyond his military service, he was well known for his love of team roping, training horses, and caring for his mules and wagon. He enjoyed coon hunting, fishing, and tinkering outside. His fondness for adventure often led him off the beaten path, turning even short trips into memorable journeys. Those who knew him appreciated his cheerful company and his ability to make people laugh or smile. Most of all, he loved being around people visiting and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Ingle of the home; daughters Donnell Newby and her husband Stephen, and Becky Littlefield and her husband David. He is also survived by his brothers, Puddin Ingle and David Ingle; his sisters, Ruth Sullateskee and her husband Duke, all of Salina, Oklahoma, and Irene Herzberg of Chase, Kansas. Runt was a proud grandfather to Taylon Ables and his wife Lindsey, Ryen Littlefield and her fiance Logan, Gibson Littlefield and his wife Sidney, Branson Littlefield and his wife Hannah, and Hunter Newby. He also cherished his great-grandchildren Billy Weston, James Weston, Henry Littlefield, Mabel Littlefield, Rylee Ables, and Praxton Ables.

Runt was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Mabel (Littledave) Ingle; brothers Roy Ingle and Bill Ingle; grandson Bailey Ables; and great-grandson Spencer Littlefield.

Funeral services for Runt will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 27, 2026, at Blue Springs Church with Pastor Lorne Beck officiating. Interment will follow in the Ross Mayes Cemetery with Taylon Ables, Gibson Littlefield, Branson Littlefield, Hunter Newby, Puddin Ingle, and David Ingle serving as casket bearers.
