Jeffrey Glen Smith, born on October 17, 1969, in Pryor, Oklahoma, passed away in his hometown on April 4, 2026. He was a lifelong resident of Pryor and a graduate of Pryor High School, class of 1987. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1988 to 1992, and the Army from 1992 until he was honorably discharged in 1995.

Jeffrey had a passionate love for sports, especially Vikings football, Angels baseball, and Oklahoma State, reflecting a vibrant enthusiasm throughout his life. His athletic spirit was evident from his own participation in baseball during his high school years. Beyond sports, Jeffrey was a devoted dog lover. Jeffrey's memory will be cherished by those who knew him for his warm presence and his love for the simple pleasures in life.

He is survived by his mother, Nettie Smith of Pryor, Oklahoma; and special friends, Hensley and RJ Nelson. Jeffrey was preceded in death by his father, Sherman Smith, and his brother, Curtis Smith.

Funeral services for Jeffrey will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 10, 2026, at Shipman's Funeral Home with Pastor Andy Pilant officiating. Interment will follow in the Hogan Cemetery in Locust Grove with RJ Nelson, Aaron Nelson, Brandon Hert, Kevin Philbin, James Colbert, and Devin Shoemaker serving as casket bearers. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Shipman's Funeral Home. To leave a personal message, please visit his guestbook at www.shipmansfuneralhome.com.
