Barbara Jo Lancaster
June 23, 1942 - November 20, 2018

Barbara Jo Lancaster was born on June 23, 1942 to Jim E. and Mabel F, (Blackwell) Morehead in Pryor, Oklahoma. She departed this life on November 20, 2018 at her home in Pryor at the age of 76.

Barbara grew up and attended school in Pryor. In 1961 she married the love of her life, Floyd Lancaster, and from their union came four children. She and Floyd spent 20 years in Huntington Beach, Ca, before moving back to Pryor, Oklahoma. Barbara graduated from college and became a Registered Nurse. She worked for Dr. Nunley in Pryor for many years. Barbara enjoyed reading, history and the Bible. She also loved college and professional basketball, Oklahoma City Thunder was her favorite. More than anything, she loved her family. Spending time with her children and grandchildren was most important to her. Barbara was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and she will deeply missed by all who loved her.

She is survived by three sons, Jim E. Lancaster of McKinney, Texas, Ted H. Lancaster of Broken Arrow and Chief Lancaster of Fort Gibson; one daughter Kendra Lancaster of Broken Arrow; thirteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and two brothers, Tommy Morehead of Sand Springs and Skip Morehead of North Carolina.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Mabel; one sister Dorothy Robbins and four brothers, Charles, Jay, Andrew and Bill Morehead.
