Beatrice Watson Wyatt

Beatrice (Watson) Wyatt was born on November 24, 1942, in Madill, Oklahoma to parents Orlandor and Dorothy (Chapman) Watson. Beatrice passed away on Friday, February 28, 2025, in Madill at the age of 82. Beatrice has been a lifelong resident of Madill and was married to James 'Sonny" Wyatt who preceded her in death. She worked for the VA as a nurse's aid for many years until her retirement and she was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church under Pastor Chad Gray and the NAACP. Beatrice loved going fishing, spending time with her grandchildren, visiting/supporting local businesses and going to church.

Beatrice is preceded in death by her husband; parents; son Melvin Watson; granddaughter Semetha Watson; and great granddaughter Xaylie Charles.

Beatrice is survived by her beloved dog, Princess; son James Watson and wife Darnetta of Waskom, TX; sister Yolanda Watson Deaton of Arlington, TX; brothers Marcus and Michael Watson of California; grandchildren Tiffany Freeman and husband Timothy of Little Elm, TX, Quincy Lewis and wife Anita of Ada, OK, Isaiah Watson of Ada, OK, and Spree Perry of Ardmore, OK; cousin Gloria Sanders of Madill, OK; great grandsons Quincy Lewis Jr. "Boots" and Xylyn Charles; great great grandson Charvis Wright Jr. "CJ"; 14 other great grandchildren; 5 other great great grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends and the employees of local businesses she made a part of her family.

A celebration of Beatrice's life will be held at First Missionary Baptist Church 410 E 6th St Madill, OK 73446, Friday March 7th at 2:00PM. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.
