Jill S. Nelson Muegge

Jill S. Muegge, 56, of Stillwater, Oklahoma, passed away on February 16, 2026. She was born on June 19, 1969, in Denison, Texas, to Sue Sparlin Nelson and Francis Nelson. Jill was raised in Madill where she graduated from Madill High School in 1987. While in high school, she had many accomplishments. Jill was part of the reserve world champion 4-H horse judging team. She was a national winner in 4-H photography and the winner of the state 4-H record book contest in sheep project. Jill was a state medalist in track and field. She continued her education at Oklahoma State University and was a Cowboy Co-Ed and part of the Chi Omega sorority. While at the University of Central Oklahoma, Jill earned a degree in Family and Consumer Science. Jill later made her home in Lamont, where she lived most of her beautiful life. She was affiliated with the Church of Christ and found strength and guidance in her faith. She loved reading her Bible and living out her faith in quiet, steady ways each day. Jill had a creative and nurturing spirit. She enjoyed sewing quilts and clothing. Jill was a home chef who loved cooking for her family. She is especially remembered for her harvest meals. Jill knew how to make you feel comfortable and at home through her hospitality and love for decorating. More than anything, she treasured her children and grandchildren. She rarely missed an opportunity to attend her children's activities, cheering them on, and faithfully supporting them in every season of life. She was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother whose love for her family was evident in everything she did. She loved the Lord all the days of her life and was full of resilience. Her steady presence, caring heart, and dedication to those she loved will be deeply missed.

She is survived by Parents: Sue Sparlin Nelson and Francis Nelson of Madill, Oklahoma Children: Elliot (Morgan) Muegge of Lamont, Oklahoma Marian (Derrick) Marshall of El Paso, Texas Katherine Muegge of Lamont, Oklahoma Harrison (Caroline) Muegge of Kansas City, Missouri Caroline (Elie) Feghali of Dallas, Texas Fisher (Lauren) Muegge of Lamont, Oklahoma. Grandchildren: Eden, Joy, Matthew, John, Silas, Finn, Islah, Evelyn, Juliette, and Benjamin. Sisters: Emily Nelson Georgia Nelson Nephew: Cole Mulch Jill's life was rooted in faith, family, and community. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
