Shannon David Bumpass 44, of Willis, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022, at the Brookside Nursing Center in Madill, Oklahoma. 

He was born on November 7, 1977, in Houston, Texas to Archie Wayne Bumpass and Luquita Gail Ford Bumpass.  Shannon was raised in Houston and later moved to Idaho.  He also lived in Gainesville, Texas before moving to Willis where he lived the rest of his life. Shannon worked at 177 Truck Repair service in Madill. He was a great daddy who enjoyed fishing and loved working on cars.     
 

He is survived by his wife:  Lisa Marie Bumpass, Willis, Oklahoma; Children: David Bumpass, Willis, Oklahoma; Cheyenne Bumpass, Willis, Oklahoma; Archie Wayne Bumpass, Willis, Oklahoma; Grandchildren: Wyatt David Bumpass, Waylon James Bumpass and Langston King Bumpass;  Father: Archie Bumpass, Willis, Oklahoma;  Siblings: Amber Huffstutlar and husband Tyler, Madill,  Oklahoma; Heather Carter and husband Dennis Wagoner Jr., Madill, Oklahoma;  Lee Tadlock, Madill, Oklahoma; Johnny Carter, Madill, Oklahoma.
 
Shannon was preceded in death by his mother, sister; Tina LaNell Tadlock, grandmother; Leola Turner Bumpass and stepmother; Karen Bumpass. 
 
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, January 6, 2022, at the Willis Baptist Church, Willis, Oklahoma. Jerry Scott will officiate the service.

Interment will be at the Willis Cemetery, Willis, Oklahoma. Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Oklahoma.
