Tommye Elizabeth Harris, 80, of Madill, Oklahoma passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at her home in Madill.

She was born on April 8, 1942, in Madill to the late Thomas Lee Moore and Nola Ruth Williams Pearce. Tommye was raised in Madill and Oklahoma City before moving back to Madill. She married James Raymond Harris on March 10, 1983, in Ardmore, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death on November 25, 2007. Tommye worked at the Madill Pants Factory and the Marshall County Clerk’s office for several years before she retired. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Madill. Tommye enjoyed watching tv, playing bunco, dancing, and walking.  She loved her dog, Akio and her best friend of 65 years Betty Fowler. Most of all she loved her family and enjoyed life.

She is survived by Daughter Christie Yow and husband Donald, Madill, OK. Grandchildren Ashtin Lanham and husband Steven, Edmond, OK; Kortlyn Yow, Madill, OK. Stepchildren Robert Foster Harris, wife Beth; Christy Anne Thompson, husband, Eddie; Daniel Kelly Harris; Karen Alma Kobs, husband, Joe; Michael Patrick Harris, wife,       Lynde; Richard James Harris, wife, Donna; David Clark Harris. Sister Buryldene.   

Tommye was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and stepdaughter, Terri Jane (Janie) Harris, and sister, Virginia. 

Casket Bearers Charles Bobbitt, Steve Harlow, David Thomas, Jagger Rogers, Steven Lanham, Donald Yow, Terry Burchfield, Bradley Burchfield

Honorary Bearers:    Jimmy Ward, Don Pittman, James Smith, Gary Greene, Preston Yow.
