Wendyl Dean Johnson, 62 of Lebanon, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013 in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. He was born on August 12, 1950 in Madill, Oklahoma to the late Ky Johnson and Ruby Rhodes Johnson. Wendyl was raised in Lebanon and later joined the United States Army serving for 2 years during the Vietnam War. He married Charlene Annette Wilson on July 2, 1982 in Durant, Oklahoma. Wendyl worked as a Real Estate Agent and Broker for Active Real Estate and June Drake Real Estate in Thackerville, Oklahoma. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, picking pecans, being with his family and loved his grandchildren.

He is survived by: Wife: Charlene Johnson, Lebanon, OK; Children: Ky and Stephanie Johnson, Durant, OK; Stacy Doggett, Durant, OK; Shelly Doggett, Lebanon, OK; Shannon and Joe Lee, Lebanon, OK.
Grandchildren: Jeremiah and spouse Lera Lee, Jordan Blankenship, Mikayla and Dustin Lowe, Carly Joe Lee, Madison Pinnick, Shaylie, Shyler and Abbie Johnson. Sisters: Shirley Johnson-Hudson and Frank Hudson of Jones, OK. and Patsy Roberts of Florida.

Wendyl was preceded in death by his parents, brother; Lloyd Taylor, sisters; Peggy Rauschenberg and Naomi Sowder.

Casket Bearers: Mike Bean, Tommy Sandefur, Lemon Johnson, Harold Johnson, Terry Hewitt, Ronnie Hagood

Visitation will be Tuesday at Watts Funeral Home in Madill from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm and family hour from 7 to 8 p.m.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at the Watts Memorial Chapel in Madill.

Burial will be at the Lebanon Cemetery in Lebanon. Chris Webb will officiate the services. Music arranged by Karoleen Hagood. Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Oklahoma.
