Bobby Joe Kaney, 78, of Kingston, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2025, in Kingston.
Born on April 10, 1947, in Madill, Oklahoma, Bobby was the son of the late Holmes Kaney and Katherine Ellen Self Kaney. He was raised in Kingston and proudly graduated from Kingston High School in 1967.
Bobby dedicated his life to serving his community. He began his career at Uniroyal and the Lake Texoma Lodge before joining the City of Kingston Water Department. After 10 years of committed service, he went on to work for the City of Madill's Water Department, where he spent over 30 years until his retirement in 2018.
Bobby had a deep love for the outdoors and simple joys. He enjoyed fishing, cheering on his favorite football teams, treasure hunting, and collecting historical artifacts, especially items related to Bonnie and Clyde. A proud member of the Chickasaw Nation, he took great pride in his heritage and his community.
He will be remembered for his quiet strength, unwavering work ethic, and curious spirit.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, sister; Rhetta Richardson and niece; Hillary Chyann Jordan
