Charles Franklin (Sandy) Dillow, 90, of Kingston, passed away Friday, Nov. 28, 2008, at his son's home in Durant. Sandy was born on July 28, 1918 in Woodville. He was raised in the Old Woodville area and later moved to Kingston, where he lived the rest of his life. Sandy married Norma Aline French on June 10, 1944, in Durant. He served in the Army/ Air Force during WWII.

He attended the Church of Christ in Kingston, where he was an Elder. Sandy enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Sandy is survived by his wife, Aline Dillow, Kingston; sons Charles F. Dillow and wife Sue, McKinney, Texas, and David W. Dillow and wife Nicholi, Durant; daughter Sarah J. Brown, Durant; grandchildren Eric Dillow and wife Kacey, Allen, Texas, Ryan Dillow, Plano, Texas, Jana Brumley and husband Chris, Durant, Leslyn Dillow, Norman, Kelly Dillow, Norman, Elizabeth Dillow, Durant, Jennifer Richard and husband Todd, Sherman, Texas, and Brian Brown, Plano, Texas; and great-grandsons Aaron Richard, Sherman, Texas, and Nicholas Richard, Sherman, Texas.

Sandy was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and one sister.

Funeral services were today at 10 a.m. at the Church of Christ, Kingston. David Dillow and Charles Dillow officiated the services. Music was arranged by Roscoe Paardue.

Interment will be at the Kingston Cemetery, Kingston.

Services were under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill. Casket bearers were David French, Rod French, Jon Heindselman, Jerry Lewis, Carroll Clifton and Carroll Culp.
