July 26, 1930 - April 21, 2020

LaVona Jean Flaming Hoffman was born in Okeene on July 26, 1930, the daughter of Henry Z. and Anna Laubach Flaming. She attended and graduated from Okeene Public School. After she and Harry Hoffman, of Okeene, were married they moved to a family farm north of Ringwood. LaVona was a farm gal all her life. She and Harry raised two boys, chickens, cattle, drove tractor, and the wheat truck as they farmed in the Ringwood and Okeene area.

LaVona's husband, Harry, preceded her in death in 1997.

Surviving children are her boys, Tommy Hoffman and wife, Cathy and Mark Hoffman and wife, Karen; grandchildren, Chris Hoffman and wife, Shauna, Nicole Andersen and husband, Shane, Amber Chain and husband, Kelly, Ashlea Parker and husband, Cody, Autumn Shackelford and husband, Ira; great-grandchildren, Lane Hoffman and wife, Magon, Maddie Andersen, Blake Chain, Baylee Chain, Lily Parker, Kye Parker, Elijah Shackelford; great-great-grandchild, Adalaine Hoffman.

There will be a private graveside service at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Meno on Saturday, April 25, 2020 with Reverend Rocky Repp officiating. Viewing for family and friends will be Friday, April 24, 2020 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. in Helena. www.lanmanmemorials.com Facebook: Lanman Funeral Home Inc.
