Mary Ellen Campbell, wife, mother, grandmother and dear friend to many, died peacefully in her home in Ringwood, Okla., on Aug. 31, 2020. She was surrounded by her family, who loved her and got to spend her last day with her.

Mary Ellen was born June 29, 1930, in Ringwood to Joseph and Martha Koons Stricker and raised in the Ringwood area. She married the love of her life, Waldo Campbell (deceased); they were happily married 63 years. They built a beautiful and simple life together that revolved around their faith, family and ranch. She was a homemaker and a necessary farmhand on Campbell Farms.

Mary Ellen was a faithful follower of Jesus, she taught many Bible studies and Sunday school classes, and loved talking about theology with her son and grandson.

She was preceded in death by her husband Waldo, her daughter Darlene, and several brothers and sisters.
