January 11, 1935 - February 5, 2020

Funeral services for Jesse Ray Burpo, age 85, of Enid, are 2:00 pm, Tuesday, February 11, 2020, at Enid First Church of The Nazarene with Reverend Bruce Johnson to officiate. Burial with military honors provided by the United States Army, will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Meno, Oklahoma with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 pm on Sunday, February 9, 2020, at the funeral home.

Jesse was born January 11, 1935 in Drummond, Oklahoma to Jesse W. and Eunice (Miller) Burpo, and passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2020 in Derby, Kansas.

He is survived by his wife Marcella, of Enid; two Karen Jones and husband Mark, of Lewisville, Texas; Clint Burpo and wife Canda, of Andover, Kansas; five grandchildren, Amanda Ziemendorf and husband Matt, of Mesa, Arizona; Michael Jones, of Houston, Texas; Sam Burpo, of Billings, Montana; Jake Burpo and wife Haley, of Wichita, Kansas; John Burpo and wife Yaroslava, of Andover, Kansas; two great-grandchildren, Leah and Asher Ziemendorf; one brother, Jerry Burpo and wife Jane, of Moore, Oklahoma; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Eunice Burpo; two brothers, J. H. Burpo and Lewis Burpo; and a sister, Bernice Schwind.

Memorials in Jesse's name may be made to Enid First Church of the Nazarene or Serenity Hospice with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
