Funeral services for Virgie V. Unruh, 85, Meno, will be 10 AM Tuesday in the New Hopedale Mennonite Church, Meno. The Rev. Larry Brashear and Steve Cutter will officiate. Burial will follow in the New Hopedale Cemetery, Meno, under the direction of Henninger – Allen Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors, Monday evening, from 6 to 8 PM at Cecil's home in Meno.

Virgie was born April 29, 19 at Meno to Isaac and Mary Wedel Koehn and passed away at the Living Center, Friday, February 23, 2001.

Virgie attended Lone Elm School and was a graduate of Oklahoma Bible Academy at Meno. On April 19, 1936, She married Cecil C. Unruh. The couple made their home on a farm south of Meno. In 1962 they moved in to Meno.

Mrs. Unruh was active in the Women in Mission at New Hopedale Mennonite Church.

Virgie is survived by her husband, Cecil of Meno; one son, Dwight Unruh and his wife, Luella of Enid; two grandsons, Mark and his wife, Tammy and their sons, Hank and Clint all of Newton, Kansas; Randy and his wife, Sheila and their daughters, Rachael, Christina, Stacie, Jennifer all of Meno; one sister, Leona Esau of Enid; two brothers, Linley Koehn of Ringwood and Vernard Koehn of Meno.

Mrs. Unruh was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.

Memorials may be made to the Mennonite Central Committee with Henninger – Allen Funeral Home acting as custodian for the fund.

Funeral services for Cecil C. Unruh, 87, Meno, will be at 2 PM Thursday at the New Hopedale Mennonite Church, Meno. Robert Koehn and Debbie Schmidt will officiate. Burial will follow in the New Hopedale Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Henninger – Allen Funeral Home.

Cecil was born November 2, 1913, near Lahoma, to Jacob P. and Rachel Jantz Unruh and passed away at Integris Bass Memorial Health Ctr., Monday, October 29, 2001.

Cecil attended schools at Lahoma and Meno graduating from Oklahoma Bible Academy at Meno. On April 19, 1936 he married the former Virginia Koehn.

The couple made their home on a farm south of Meno. They farmed and Cecil worked as a carpenter in Enid and the surrounding communities. In 1962 they made their home in Meno. Cecil and Virgie where the custodians at the church for over 28 years.

Mr. Unruh was a member of the New Hopedale Mennonite Church.

Cecil is survived by one son, Dwight and his wife, Luella of Enid; two grandsons, Mark and his wife, Tammy and their sons, Hank and Clint all of Newton, Kansas, Randy and his wife, Shelia and their daughters, Rachael, Christina, Stacie, Jennifer, all of Meno; one brother, Walter Unruh of Enid.

Cecil was preceded in death by his wife, Virgie, one sister and one brother.

Memorials may be made to the Mennonite Central Committee with Henninger – Allen acting as custodians for the fund.
